The impact of the results obtained in this stage of the project can be measured by:
- Increasing the capacity for collaboration between the UTM and POLITEHNICA Bucharest teams, enhancing the capabilities for organizing joint scientific events;
- Diversifying technical skills regarding the use of Cloud-Edge platforms for data processing and storage;
- Increasing the potential to respond to international challenges regarding the design and implementation of distributed applications;
- Increasing awareness of the use of open data models and open science by initiating professional training in the field of open data, digital technologies and tools, as well as open science;
- Increasing the promotion of interdisciplinarity and increasing the efficiency of science by sharing resources, especially open data repositories;
- Increasing the research profile of the staff for both research partners and increasing the transfer of knowledge from Romania to Moldova in the field of the project.
On the academic side, an important segment of the visit was the informative session dedicated to doctoral activity, which provided a clear compass for young researchers. Good practices and the methodology of writing theses were addressed, the official guide for writing doctoral theses at POLITEHNICA Bucharest, as well as advice on maintaining the balance between research and academic life. Potential collaborations such as co-tutorship at the doctoral level were established, with the possibility of obtaining budgeted places for Romanians from all over the world within the doctoral schools at POLITEHNICA Bucharest.
From an economic point of view, by increasing the potential for applying to new projects, at European level, the institutional capacity to support research activities will increase.
